Crackbook
So, if you haven't joined Facebook yet, then you won't know why I haven't been on my blog much. I noticed on a friend's Facebook page, there was a comment that said, "Welcome to 'Crackbook'...the addiction that brings connection". Yeah, that about sums it up.
Anyway, Facebook is aplace to keep your status continually updated. You can upload your pics, review books read, keep up with others, play games, give gifts, join charity causes, and much more without the trash of MySpace. So, if my posting here becomes less and less, it is because I'm over there. I will still try keep some updates here on Boundless Mercy, especially since it contains the story of our lives in ministry and family over the past 4 years.
Quick updates: Training LOTS of clients now...awesome (getting cool opportunities to minister)! Abigail and Brennan are moving into 1st grade curriculum. Caleb is in t-ball. Rick is working at the gym now behind the desk 2 days a week. Planning on spending a week in Vegas for Christmas with extended family instead of doing gifts this year...way less stress and lots of fun! Gonna have Thanksgiving at our house this year for the WHOLE church and then some. Planning on redeeming Halloween night by being out with the church giving away hot dogs, popcorn, candy, and some words of love (we also get to decorate our trunks....'Trick or Trunk').
How are you? Drop us a line!
Love,
Melissa and family
Aloha!
Rick and I returned from the Big Island last Sunday, Aug. 24th. Amazing! Ready to go back. Already planning next year's vacation. Thanks, Nana, for an amzing gift of your time, so we could have ours. We even met a guy at the church we visited who grew up a few doors down from Parkview! That's a God thing!
Here are some pics, but you can check out more at my Facebook page.

Patio Monkeys
As I mentioned in the previous blog, Rick worked very hard for 3 weeks on updating our patio. He did an excellent job...especially for an amateur! Miguel Loreto and some of his family and friends pitched in for cement pouring and building the awning, so that was incredibly helpful. I even assisted in the grouting process. Team effort! But seriously, Rick did most of it. Thanks, honey. Here are some pics:
Also, Caleb's 3rd birthday is Sunday, August 3rd. Happy birthday, my little monkey!
July 30, 1979
The day I was born.
Welcome to the last year of my 20's.
It's just the beginning of whatever God has.
Love, Melissa
P.S. Thank you to a wonderful husband who updated our backyard with 3 weeks of strenuous, hard work...poured cement slab, tiled with slate, grouted, sealed, and installed awning. What a wonderful gift to be able to thoroughly enjoy our backyard as a family. I love you, Rick! (will post pics soon)
Wedding of the Decade
Here it is! Pics from Jessica & Stig's wedding. Jessica is my cousin. She is the one with curly brown hair that is not me. There is too much to begin to tell, so I'll just post pics and tell you what's in them.
