What a long, arduous, but amazingly wonderful process!

Well, God has truly blown me away with His gifts these last few days.  The worship team and myself were in a recording studio in Oakview last Thursday through Saturday working on a CD of the original music written at Parkview.  It has been an awesome collaboration of hard work, creative energy, and Holy Spirit inspiration.  We got to just play music for the first two days, which was a blast.  Then on Saturday, we did over-dubs...or better said he, Tim Frantz, did over-dubs.  Our studio engineer is also an accomplished studio musician that has made these songs become exactly what has been stirring in the hearts and minds of the songwriters.  God must be truly pleased with the sacrificial gifts Tim lays back at our Lord's feet by using his talents so selflessly.

Anyway, the whole thing has been exhausting too.  We still have to do over-dubs on 7 more songs, record all vocal tracks, edit, mix, and master.  We really hope this project will be done by the first of the year though.  I'll try to load one of the half-done tracks online in the next week for you to have a sample.

Thanks to those who have helped, prayed, watched our kids, financially backed us, and loved us.  God is so good to have created such a beautiful, wonderful thing as music and an opportunity to record in a way for others to hear that may not have otherwise.  Thanks, God, truly...thanks!

sweet. can't wait to hear it.

the recording process can be rough, but it is totally worth it when you have the final product in your hand.

God's blessings on the rest of the process.

peace!
