There's a tooth stuck in my voice.

Last week, a couple of us went back into the studio to work on the songs again and record vocals.  We were scheduled for a Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Well, the previous weekend I had a wisdom tooth that had been somewhat bothering me.  It was giving me an earache and a little soar throat, but nothing unbearable.  So, Tuesday we went in, worked, did vocals, and it was fine.  Then Tuesday night I woke up in the middle of the night, grabbed Rick and said "PRAY FOR ME!"  My tooth and gums were suddenly in excruciating, throbbing pain.  My impacted wisdom tooth had decided to come on with a full blown attempt to push through.  Since we had Wednesday off from the studio, I sat at home with an ice pack on my mouth, discovered some homeopathic remedies, and spent the day taking chamomile and ginger as often as possible while saying sternly through gritted teeth, "I WILL NOT BE KEPT FROM SINGING FOR JESUS!"  (I know...maybe a little dramatic, but definitley how I felt)

Thursday came and and I continued on.  God was gracious and the pain was only off and on and off and on.  And miraculously, my mouth felt better when I sang.  Praise God!  Even more miraculous was that our producer canceled our Friday session due to computer problems, so I did not even have to worry about that day.

I have known for a while that I need my wisdom teeth out, but we have not found insurance yet.  So now the need to decide is much more urgent.  God will work it out, and the good news is that my mouth has almost completely stopped hurting.  Thanks to all those who prayed for me.

Love,

Melissa
