Jamaica, Mon!
I got back last night from an all-expenses-paid 5-day vacation at the Ritz Carlton in Montego Bay, Jamaica. (I know, it has been a tough life for me lately.) I had a blast with my dad. He is the one who invited me. He won the incentive trip with his company, CLA. It is a really great company with some strong Christian leadership. I felt privileged to be there as a part of their group. My dad and I did lots of fun things, including: golfing at the White Witch, louging in and by the Carribean, shopping in the open markets, receiving treatments at the spa, eating 5-star food, and swimming with horses (more on that one in my next post).
I came back yesterday very relaxed, a little browner, and extremely thankful for the wonderful month that God and my husband and others like my Dad and Mother-in-law have provided. Now I have to get back to the grind. But I'm excited. I start kindergarten with the kids next Monday. I have two days in the studio over the next two weeks that should finish my portion of songs on the CD. And it is time to begin planning this year's Christmas program. Lots to do...lots of energy to expend...lots of fruit to produce. No problem, Mon!
Love you, readers,
Melissa
