Quick updates...
Just got back from Vegas...with THREE KIDS! Somehow we had fun though. My uncle got married and all my dad's side of the family came. The wedding was a blast, and my Uncle Tom was happily united to his new wife, Getty. We stayed at The Venetian, which was beautiful. We played a few slots, sent the kids to the dolphin/white tiger show with PawPaw at the Mirage, and ate some wonderful food! It was a quick two days, but well worth the trip.
We are still trucking away at the CD. We can only go as far as we receive money for. Some giving investors have bought us some time in June, so we are working hard again. All 11 songs have been completed recorded, and 3 of those have been edited and mixed. That leaves 7 to finish up. I'm so excited! What is done so far is awesome! Thanks Tim Frantz and MountainDog Musicworks Recording Studio.
Church is going through another transition as we move from two to one church services but add a prayer service. We are looking forward to the change. Change keeps us growing and morphing...hopefully into things more Christlike.
Rick and I are still adjusting to the new roles. We love the ministry, but are not sure how to balance it with the rest of our lives and are also not sure how to handle the emotions involved. In time, I'm sure.
Abigail and Brennan are getting ready to start Kindergarten soon (at home, that is). We just moved Caleb out of his crib and he is doing very well. All three are happy, healthy, and more well-mannered that I certainly could have hoped for. "Too cool, God....thanks!"
If you want to know any more about what's up in the Wood's side of the woods, just send us a note.
Much love,
Melissa

Thanks again for your time Melissa. Nice to know I am not alone in my 'pastor's wife ponderings', adjustments, concerns, and feelings.
Love,
LouAnn
